Animal Portraits

 

     I completed a series of animal portraits with personification. Different animals with different status are like every single being in the human society, in different ages, gender, professions, races, social and family characters. We all have our own judgement towards this world while living in our own. We live in the society with common and personal characteristics. Through my artwork, audience will get a view of how different people, nationalities, countries, and regions coexist in different media.   Reflecting on ourselves, we tend to ask: who are we? Where are we heading? There is no final answer for us. The only thing we can do is  proceeding in eternity and subversion, which could happen anytime, while searching for the answer constantly in firm faith.

      我用拟人的方式完成了一系列的动物肖像作品，不同的动物不同的状态，像是人类社会生活中的每个个体一样，各自有自己的年龄，性别，职业，民族，社会角色，家庭角色。每人都有自己的世界，有自己的判对于这个世界的判断。我们带着共性特征与个性特色生活在社会里，观众通过作品看到当下的人与人，民族与民族，国家与国家，地区与地区在不同的载体下共存的状态，反观我们自己时我们是谁？我们应该走向哪里？没有最终的答案，只有永远的存疑和不停歇的寻找答案，恒久的守恒与随时的颠覆中前行。
