Oil Portraits

 

Classic painting has been the the peak of art in my heart. The Self-Portrait with Capo and Portrait of Wife are the ultra tributes to classical art. The blank parts in the background is my trial of rearrangement of combining finished and unfinished parts. The contrast of the fine and coarse outcome increases the extension of time . In my point of view, both proceeding forward and backward are important, because the connection of past, presence, and future , and putting classical painting in presence is the real spirit of classic in modern era.

油画肖像作品

         古典绘画一直是我心中永远的艺术高峰。《带变调夹的自画像》和《妻子的肖像》两张作品完全是自己内心对于古典艺术的致敬。背景中有一部分留白是我尝试把完成与未完成重组，这种细腻与粗糙的对比增加了画面在时间上的延展性，在我看来时间轴上向前的发展和向后的回溯同等重要，连接昨天与今天，今天与明天，把古典绘画至于当下才是现代的古典精神。
